We are honored to announce that Highland Memory Gardens will be hosting the Run for Hope 5K on July 12, 2026, in support of The 2650 Foundation and our mission to provide firefighter training and education.

This event is more than just a race—it’s an opportunity to honor the legacy of fallen Apopka Firefighter Austin Duran and invest in the future of the fire service. Every step taken helps equip firefighters with the training and resources they need to serve our communities safely.

Whether you run, walk, volunteer, or cheer from the sidelines, your support makes a difference.

A special thank you to Highland Memory Gardens for hosting this meaningful event and supporting our mission to carry Austin’s legacy forward through firefighter education and training.

On June 30th, The 2650 Foundation invites the community to quietly honor the life and legacy of Austin Duran by placing flowers at his memorial.

This marks the 4 year anniversary of the incident that forever changed our lives, and it also serves as the beginning of our annual Fifteen Days of Hope — a campaign dedicated to community, healing, and positive change.

This is an all-day, drop-in tribute — no formal gathering or ceremony. Stop by at any time to lay a flower, reflect, and pay your respects in your own way.

Flowers will be available on-site, or feel free to bring your own.

Let’s stand together in quiet remembrance, as we honor Austin’s strength and continue the mission to build a safer, more informed future.
