The 2650 Foundation Honor Project
The 2650 Foundation is proud to announce as part of The Fifteen Days of Hope, The 2650 Foundation Honor Project.
In remembering Austin Duran and the many other fallen heroes, we would like to honor our First Responder's along with our Veterans. The 2650 Foundation Honor Project would like to recognize those that have sacrificed for us all.
The final resting place for our beloved son and brother, Austin and hundreds of others, is at Highland Memory Gardens and Funeral Home located in the beautiful city of Apopka.
We are so honored and excited to have the opportunity to organize a day to recognize each and every First Responder and Veteran. We will place an American Flag at their marker or headstone while documenting each individual by name.
Putting a name to every hero will be a huge task to take on as there are 20,000 laid to rest at this cemetery!
THIS IS WHERE YOU CAN HELP!
Come and volunteer a bit of your time as we could use 100 or so volunteers to help us in this monumental task!
Join us in this incredible gift! Let us show our hero's that we will always remember and never forget!
When: July 14th 2024 9am-Finished
Where: 3329 Semoran Blvd, Apopka, FI 32703
Who: Open to the public
Please note- children must be strictly supervised

The 3rd Annual Community Vigil - In memory of FF Austin Duran
In remembrance of the two year anniversary of the day that Firefighter Austin Duran was injured, on behalf of the Duran family and The 2650 Foundation, we would like invite all to join us for this 3rd Annual Community Vigil. This years vigil will of course be at the memorial site that was built by the hands of his brother and sister firefighters, family, loved ones, and many citizens who were touched by his story and life. We will meet at 10am for a moment to reflect on the legacy of Austin Duran, and the impact his life continues to have thanks to his family and friends.
Following this years vigil, as we have done since the beginning, we will be gathering at Three Odd Guys for some time of fellowship, food, and brews.
Pack the Firehouse
In honor of Austin and to help show love to our first responders, @pityfitness_ will be collecting toiletries, canned goods, hand written thank you cards, Tupperware, tinfoil, coffee creamer, spices, sauces, etc. starting now (June 12th) through June 30!
Remember our first responders live at the fire station so let’s pack these stations like we pack our houses! The goal is to have enough items to fill 6 large tubs and distribute them to our 6 Apopka Fire Departments during the 15 Days of Hope (June 30- July 15).
Items can be dropped off at the PITYFitness Studio Monday through Friday 6am-6pm and Saturday 8-10am
418 S Park Ave
Apopka, FL 32703
Or you can email chelsea@pityfitness.com for any questions or to schedule a drop off.
