Meet John Paul!

He is the second recipient for the Austin Duran Firefighter/EMT Scholarship! He will be starting EMT school later this year.

A few of our founders got to meet him and his family this evening at his high school award ceremony. This incredible young man and his sweet parents were such a pleasure to get to meet. Just like our last recipient, J.P was told that The 2650 Foundation is in this with him- for the long haul.

It’s such an honor for our team to stand along side these young firemen as then begin their long lasting careers, doing the one thing Austin Duran loved so much. We cannot think of a better way to honor Austin and the legacy he left with us.

Again, a huge thank you to our partners at First Response Training School. Our partnership with you goes beyond just these scholarships. You all are such a blessing and a beacon of hope for our team and the mission we have set out on.
